Have you been to Jesus

1. Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing pow'r?

    Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
    Are you fully trusting in His grace this hour?
    Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

Are you washed in the blood,
In the soul-cleansing blood of the Lamb?
Are your garments spotless? Are they white as snow?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

2. Are you walking daily by the Savior's side?
    Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
    Do you rest each moment in the Crucified?
    Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

3. When the Bridegroom cometh will your robes be white!
    Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
    Will your soul be ready for His presence bright,
    And be washed in the blood of the Lamb?

4. Lay aside the garments that are stained with sin,
    And be washed in the blood of the Lamb;
  There's a fountain flowing for the soul unclean,
  O be washed in the blood of the Lamb.

I must tell Jesus all of my trials

1. I must tell Jesus all of my trials
    I cannot bear these burdens alone;
    In my distress He kindly will help me;
    He ever loves and cares for His own.

I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus !
I cannot bear my burdens alone ;
I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus !
Jesus can help me, Jesus alone.

2. I must tell Jesus all of my troubles;
    He is a kind, compassionate Friend;
    If I but ask Him, He will deliver,
    And in my griefs with me He will blend.

3. Tempted and tried I need a great Savior,
    One who can help my burdens to bea r;
    I must tell Jesus, I must tell Jesus;
    He all my cares and sorrows will share,

4. O how the world to evil allures me!
    O how my heart is tempted to sin!
    I must tell Jesus; He will enable
  Over the world the vic'try to win.

I know not why God's wondrous grace

1. I know not why God's wondrous grace - To me He hath made known,
    Nor why, unworthy, Christ in love - Redeemed me for His own.

But "I know Whom I have believed
And am persuaded that He is able
To keep that which I've committed
Unto Him against that day."

2. I know not how this saving faith - To me He did impart,
    Nor how believing in His word - Wrought peace within my heart.

3. I know not how the Spirit moves - Convincing men of sin,
    Revealing Jesus through the Word - Creating faith in Him.

4. I know not what of good or ill - May be reserved for me,
  Of weary ways or golden days - Before His face I see.

5. I know not when my Lord may come At night or noon-day fair,
    Nor if I'll walk the vale with Him - Or "meet Him in the air."

I have found a friend in Jesus

1. I have found a friend in Jesus, He's ev'rything to me,
    He's the fairest of ten thousand to my soul;
    The Apple-tree of trees, in Him alone I see
    All I need to cleanse and make me fully whole.
    In sorrow He's my comfort, in trouble He's my stay,
    He tells me every care on Him to roll:
    He's the Apple-tree of trees, the Bright and Morning Star,
    He's the fairest of ten thousand to my soul.

2. He all my griefs has taken, and all my sorrows borne;
    In temptation He's my strong and mighty tower;
    I've all for Him forsaken, and all my idols torn
    From my heart, and now He keeps me by His power.
    Though all the world forsake me, and Satan tempt me sore,
    Through Jesus I shall safely reach the goal:
    He's the Apple-tree of trees, the Bright and Morning Star,
    He's the fairest of ten thousand to my soul.

3. He'll never, never leave me, nor yet forsake me here,
    While I live by faith and do His blessed will;
    A wall of fire about me, I've nothing now to fear,
  With His manna He my hungry soul shall fill.
  Then sweeping up to glory to see His blessed face,
  Where rivers of delight shall ever roll:
  He's the Apple-tree of trees, the Bright and Morning Star,
  He's the fairest of ten thousand to my soul.

Great is Thy faithfulness

1. "Great is Thy faithfulness," O God my Father,
    There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
    Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not
    As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be.

"Great is Thy faithfulness!" "Great is Thy faithfulness!"
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided
"Great is Thy faithfulness," Lord, unto me!

2. Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest,
    Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,
    Join with all nature in manifold witness
    To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

3. Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
    Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
    Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
    Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!

Yield not to temptation

1. Yield not to temptation - For yielding is sin;
    Each vict'ry will help you - Some other to win;
    Fight valiantly onward - Evil passions subdue;
    Look ever to Jesus - He will carry you through.

Ask the Savior to help you,
Comfort, strengthen and keep you;
He is willing to aid you - He will carry you through.

2. Shun evil companions - Bad language disdain;
    God's name hold in rev'rence - Nor take it in vain;
    Be thoughtful and earnest - Kindhearted and true;
    Look ever to Jesus - He will carry you through.

3. To him that o'ercometh - God giveth a crown;
    Through faith we will conquer - Though often cast down;
    He who is our Savior - Our strength will renew;
    Look ever to Jesus - He will carry you through.

When upon life's billows you

1. When upon life's billows you are tempest tossed
    When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,
    Count your many blessings, name them one by one.
    And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.

Count..... Your blessings, name them one by one.
Count..... Your blessings see what God hath done
count..... Your blessings name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done

2. Are you ever burdened with a load of care?
    Does the cross seem heavy you are called to bear?
    Count your many blessings, every doubt will fly,
    And you will be singing as the days go by

3. When you look at others with their lands and gold,
    Think that Christ has promised you His wealth untold;
    Count your many blessings; wealth can never buy
    Your reward in heaven, nor your home on high

4. So, amid the conflict, whether great or small
    Do not be discouraged, God is over all;
    Count your many blessings, angels will attend
    Help and comfort give you to your journey's end.

When the trumpet of the Lord

1. When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound
    And time shall be no more,
    And the morning breaks, eternal, bright and fair;
    When the, saved of earth
    shall gather over on the other shore,
    And the roll is call'd up yonder I'll be there.

When the roll.... is called up yon... der,
When the roll.... is called up yonder,
When the roll.... is called up yon der,
When the roll.... is called up yonder, I'll be there

2. On that bright and cloudless morning,
    When the dead in Christ shall rise
    And the glory of His resurrection share;
  When His chosen ones shall
  gather to their home beyond the skies.
  And the roll is called up yonder, I'll be there,

3. Let me labour for the Master From the dawn till setting sun,
    Let me talk of all His wondrous love and care;
    Then when all of life is over and
    my work on earth is done,
    And the roll is called up yonder, I'll be there.

When I survey the wondrous cross

1. When I survey the wondrous cross
    On which the Prince of glory died,
    My richest gain I count but loss,
    And pour contempt on all my pride.

2. Forbid It Lord, that I should boast,
    Save in the death of Christ, My God;
    All the vain things that charm me most,
    I'd sacrifice them to His blood.

3. See from His head, His hands, His feet,
    Sorrow and love flowed mingled down;
    Did e'er such love and sorrow meet,
    Or thorns compose so rich a crown?

4. His dying crimson, from His head
    Spreads o'er His body on the tree;

    To all the world then am I dead,
    And all the world is dead to me.

5 Were the whole realm of nature mine,
  That were an offering far too small;
  Love so, amazing so divine,
  Demands my soul, my life, my all,

What can wash away my sin?

1. What can wash away my sin? - Nothing but the blood of Jesus
    What can make me whole again? - Nothing but the blood of Jesus!

Oh, precious is the flow - That makes me white as snow!
No other fount I know! - Nothing but the blood of Jesus!

2. For my cleansing this I see - Nothing but the blood of Jesus !
    For my pardon this my plea - Nothing but the blood of Jesus !

3. Nothing can for sin atone Nothing but the blood of Jesus
    Naught of good that I have done - Nothing but the blood of Jesus

4. This is all my hope and peace Nothing but the blood of Jesus!
    This is all my righteousness - Nothing but the blood of Jesus!

What a friend we have in Jesus

1. What a friend we have in Jesus - All our sins and griefs to bear !

    What a privilege to carry Everything to God in praye r!

    Oh! What peace we often forfeit ! Oh, what needless pain we bear !

    All because we do not carry Everything to God in prayer.

2. Have we trials and temptations? - Is there trouble anywhere?
    We should never be discouraged - Take it to the Lord in prayer.
    Can we find a friend so faithful - Who will all our sorrows share?
    Jesus knows our every weakness; Take it to the Lord in prayer.

3. Are we weak and heavy-laden - Cumbered with a load of care?
    Precious Saviour still our refuge - Take it to the Lord in prayer;
    Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?

    Take it to the Lord in prayer;

    In His arms He'll take and shield thee -Thou wilt find a solace there

Have you been to Jesus
